Learn about the Homemaker & Respite program and how we can help.
The Homemaker & Respite program is designed to provide personal and home care, companionship, and a safe environment for clients who require skilled services and help with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IALD’s). Activities of daily living (ADLs) are important tasks you do on a regular basis to take care of your body and overall well-being. ADLs include things like eating, bathing and using the bathroom — tasks you must do to keep your body functioning. Instrumental Activities of Daily Living are the complex tasks required to maintain independent living conditions. They go beyond the six essential ADLs, which are: 1. Dressing 2. Eating 3. Ambulating 4. Toileting 5. Hygiene 6. Continence.
